At Lifting and Access Solutions – Furniture hoist hire in London: We have an impressive range of furniture hoists available which can accommodate your removal requirements, from our 18 meter portable hand carry hoist, to our larger 34 meter van mounted furniture hoists, lifting 200kgs up to 34 meters or 400kgs up to 20 meters. These are all manned by our experienced operators, who are fully trained in window* removal and replacement.

If a furniture hoist cannot reach, there is an unclear path or the balcony is unsuitable, we use our long reach HIAB crane service which is the safest method to hoist furniture.

Van mounted external furniture elevator
- Reach: up to 34 meter
- 300kg – 400kg lifting capacity
Compact hand carry mobile hoist (only rented by the day, requires two operators to set up)
- Reach: up to 18 meter
- 250kg lifting capacity
For furnishings we deem unsafe to place on our furniture hoists ie. pianos or large heavy items measuring over 3 meters long, we would suggest using our long reach HIAB crane service
*We are trained in sash and UPVC window removal, to asses the window we will require a site visit and will take no responsibility for window removal/replacement with out a site visit.
Hoisting furniture and working at heights can be very dangerous, you can never take chances working at any heights, one slip or structural failure can result in serious injury. Old buildings may have weak balconies, balustrades or brick work that can easily collapse when applying pressure or excess weight. We often have customers asking us to lower sofas and furnishings using only rope; at Lifting and Access Solutions we do not take chances or short cuts like that and therefore always use a furniture hoist or a crane. These are both the safest method of moving furniture at high levels.
